Nice to meet you.
Hi, I’m Maren, and I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to live, learn, and thrive.
This belief is so strong that it has fueled my multidisciplinary college studies, countless summers as a camp counselor, and more than a decade of roles in organizations where I either served children directly or empowered the professionals surrounding children who help them thrive.
Along the way, I discovered that I was excellent at one thing in nearly every role and context: creating order from chaos.

With the Seneca Family of Agencies, I used this “superpower” to transform a K-3 classroom from a tumultuous corner of the school to a healthy learning environment in which every student made progress academically and behaviorally. At BrightBytes, I coordinated teams to steer customer success projects slipping off track and drive complex product launches to thousands of educators. At Yay Lunch, I whittled down a huge pile of strategic projects into a right-sized plan that prioritized the most essential work to drive the company’s mission.
Then, in 2022, I was struck with an unexpected layoff. After taking time to rest and re-evaluate, I knew I still wanted to serve kids and the incredible teams that support them. But I needed to take a different approach, one that wouldn’t burn me out and that would allow my unique combination of experiences at lean start-ups, this superpower, and a quietly held love of writing to shine.
Now, I collaborate with education and mental health organizations to up-level their content marketing game.
Whether I’m crafting a compelling case study, optimizing a languishing blog post, or building a sustainable publishing calendar, I create order from chaos. It’s just the boost lean teams need to get organized, deliver value to their audience, build customers’ trust in their brand, and adapt their content strategy as their organization grows.
And when my clients thrive, their customers — and the children they serve — thrive too.
When I’m not writing, building, or strategizing, you can find me:
- Hiking in the summer;
- Skiing in the winter;
- Scribbling about fantastical worlds and stories year-round.
I report to two managers, Heskey and Pepper, shamelessly posing in their favorite window and who insist on reviewing every draft I produce. I am eternally grateful to my life partner for his loving support and endless slew of witty remarks.
